I also know that some people like to shade overtones in different instruments in their wonderful mix. This plugin can do that for you as well. It simply sweeps the sound of the original in a low pass filter and then re mixes with the picked version in an analog sounding filter with different settings for cut and roll off. The result is a sound that is somewhere between the originals and a modern wet sound in a very short amount of time. Try different settings and you might be amazed at the results you get. One setting can make it sound like your playing in an old band audition way back when. But when you dial it down enough, it can sound modern.
There are some presets available on the ability to use them in different applications. If you like what you hear and you are not mixing for the zenith of metal sound, consider buying this plugin. It is one of the best sounding effects plugins I have used and it has the flexibility to sound like anything from Heavy Metal to Pop/Rock.
This plugin contains presets made by Misha himself who is considered one of the countrys leading Producer, Writer, and guitarist. Some of these presets will sound like metallic distortion, others will sound like good overdrive. I cannot make any guarantees that these presets will work with the freeware version of Sylenth1 or the plugins that you are using. It will require some tweaking. But if you can get it to work, let me know and I will send you the preset file.
